Slowly building mileage

I think my knee healed over Spring Break. I don't want to tempt fate, though. So this week my goal was to simply alternate days of low-mileage jogging with days of walking.

Monday: walked 1.19 miles with daughter and dogs.

Tuesday: jogged 2.75 miles on the treadmill at an easy pace.

Wednesday: walked 1.02 miles briskly with dogs.

Thursday: walked 0.79 miles, leisurely, with daughter and dogs practicing "walking nicely on a leash". (Our puppy (pictured) is in obedience training class, so we practiced this tonight.)

Friday: jogged 3 miles on the treadmill at an easy pace.

Sunday: walked leisurely with daughter and puppy at park after obedience training class.

Days run this week: 2
Miles run/walk this week: 5.75
Highlight of the week: knee doesn't hurt, added more walking
Goal for next week: slowly increase mileage
